"After studying music and singing and acting in musical theatre
for many years, I ended up majoring in Directing and Playwriting at University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with the intent
of getting into the film industry. But fate would have me reviving my talent for painting, and I began creating visual
art after being inspired by friends in Rio de Janeiro and Milan who were working artists... After being selected to display
my work in the International T-Shirt artists exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago in 1986, I received a
job offer, and I ended up living and working in Mexico teaching the art of painting on silk at various Club
Meds in Mexico during the 80's and 90's. I also opened three art galleries in Florida: "The Silk Gallery"
and "Island Lovers Art" both in Longboat Key, and "Blue Moon" in Bradenton Beach,Florida. My work
is currently featured at Wall Art Gallery in Sarasota, Florida and Galeria Azul in Cozumel,Mexico.
My paintings have also been exhibited at Art-Expo in Las Vegas, Park Art Gallery in New York City, Art-Fusion
Gallery in Miami, and Green World Gallery in Key West...
